The NSDA aims to enhance an individual’s employability by certifying completeness with skills. NSDA works to expand the skilling capacity of identified public and private training providers qualitatively and quantitatively. It also aims to establish and operationalize a responsive skills ecosystem and delivery mechanism through a combination of well-defined set of mechanisms and necessary technical supports. Demand oriented skill training is an important area for productivity enhancement, employment generation and poverty alleviation. Skill development training institutes established at the government and private levels in Bangladesh are providing skill development training commercially.

দেশের আর্থ-সামাজিক উন্নয়নে দক্ষতা নির্ভর প্রশিক্ষণের গুরুত্ব অপরসীম। উৎপাদনশীলতা বৃদ্ধি, কর্মসংস্থান সৃষ্টি এবং দারিদ্র্য বিমোচনের জন্য চাহিদা ভিত্তিক দক্ষতা প্রশিক্ষণ একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ক্ষেত্র। বাংলাদেশে সরকারি ও বেসরকারি পর্যায়ে গড়ে ওঠা দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন সংক্রান্ত প্রশিক্ষণ প্রতিষ্ঠানসমূহ বাণিজ্যিকভাবে দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান করছে। এই সমস্ত প্রশিক্ষণ প্রতিষ্ঠানে পরিচালিত প্রশিক্ষণের সামগ্রিক মান উন্নয়ন ও রিকন্সিলেশন সাধনে অকুপেশন ভিত্তিক অভিন্ন প্রশিক্ষণ কারিকুলাম থাকা জরুরি।

These Competency Standards were developed by the Standards and Curriculum Development Committee (SCDC) for the occupation ‘Graphic Designer’ that was established under the sub-sector Industry Skills Council (ISC) and with the assistance of the Technical and Vocational Education Reform project. This project is funded by the European Union, the International Labour Organization and the Government of Bangladesh.
